Behind this (completely untranslatable) play on words hides an association of young enthusiastic people. Created in 1993, it includes all the members of the team at Le Suquet who wish to enjoy the great outdoors, breath, move, discover Aubrac when the restaurant is closed on Mondays and, after a good night's sleep, mind and body begin to stir.
The programme is pinned up on the notice board the day before. Often organised by Sébastien Bras and Régis Saint Géniez, always ready to share with those who wish to follow the secret mountain bike tracks or walking paths on the plateau, as well as other sporting and cultural activities. No question of managers, chefs or employees; hierarchical barriers cede to normal human relationships. In a light-hearted atmosphere, the Bras KC evenings bring people together, facilitate discussion and laughter and create bonds of friendship. The young foreign chefs - there are often more than 10 different nationalities - take the opportunity and are proud to present their national gastronomic dishes and traditions, going to great lengths to source ingredients without which the authenticity and taste of the recipes would be compromised. An occasion for everyone to discover other tastes and cultures. Every two or three years, a major escapade is organised, such as the New York marathon or a raid in the desert from Atlas to Morocco or the Bardenas Reales in Spain. Great experiences which often incite former employees to make a detour and visit Le Suquet, reliving past memories.
